There’s something so special and beautiful about small, intimate weddings. Evelin and David got married at the Pittsburgh Courthouse Grand Staircase with just their closest relatives and friends. We never pictured that a courthouse wedding would have such beautiful image opportunities, with a staircase and large windows that offered such stunning soft and moody light.
Also, it was a February wedding. The month of February can be such a gamble in Pittsburgh because it could be 65 degrees and sunny one day, and dip in the chilly 30s the next, as it in fact was the week leading up to their wedding. Brides and Grooms who plan their wedding day in February are bold and brave, and it also proves how they’re not willing to put their love journey on hold for the fairer weather.
David and Evelin are gracious, sweet and kind. Their warmth more than made up for the brisk wind when we stepped outside of the downtown courthouse.
